Very helpful and informative volunteers. The museum is interesting and has many first-hand objects or documents from the ancestors of March families or visitors. I was in search of information regarding war evacuees and they were able to help me. Great place to visit when visiting March or Cambridgeshire, open Wednesdays and Saturdays I believe

I love this museum. It used to be a school and is very small, but every space is full of artefacts and interesting things to look at and find out about. My children were very interested in the boots that belonged to the little girl who was struck by lightning, and they enjoyed reading out the information that told the story of what happened to her. There is something for everyone here. If you're interested in finding out about life in the old days and local heroes, then this is the place for you!

Popped in today and found it to be an absolute gem, while not a huge place they did seem to have something for everyone, with a very welcoming atmosphere, extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff/volunteers. My lad loved chatting to them about the prehistoric items and the roman pieces.

Has an interesting microscope and slide collection. Brass and glass blast from the past with Victorian-style slide collection. A treasure. Josef (see negativity below) is blind. John M Clark Acarologist, New Zealand

Great local museum.
